    Why Make this Recipe

    1. Under 2 Minutes: Sometimes we just need the quickest recipe possible. By simply combining two ingredients and stirring, you have the tastiest veggie dip! 
    2. Uses Kitchen Staples: This recipe originated because we were having company and realized we had gotten a lot of vegetables to share but not any dip! We had some sour cream and a flavoring packet in the house, so we quickly mixed them together (literally while their backs were turned to us). Everyone raved about the dip, and we didn’t even need to go to the grocery store for special ingredients!

    1. Sour Cream: You can use regular or low fat sour cream. For a healthier alternative, you can also use unflavored Greek yogurt. 
    2. Italian Seasoning Packet: These packets are typically used to make homemade Italian dressing as home. I used 1 (.7 oz) pack of dry Italian Salad Dressing and Recipe Packet, Good Seasons brand. 

    How to Make this Recipe

    Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Serve with vegetables, crackers, or anything else you’d like. Enjoy!

    • For an even healthier version of this dip, you can replace the sour cream with unflavored Greek yogurt. 
    • There is no need to limit yourself to just a vegetable dip! This recipe would also be delicious on sandwiches, as a chip dip, or even mixed into eggs.

    Definitely! I am partial to the Italian Flavoring Packet, but if you’d prefer to use a different seasoning packet, you certainly can do so. 

    Using a ranch packet will deliver similar results to ranch dressing. Lipton Onion mix is also a great option.
