There’s nothing more representative of Christmas to me than Italian Christmas Cookies!
Every Christmas my family gets together and makes a large Italian feast, complete with homemade pasta, tiramisu, and, of course, Christmas Cookies.

The following Christmas cookies are staples for our holiday meal! If you want some delicious holiday desserts, make sure to try these ones out.
Pizzelle

This Pizzelle Recipe will teach you how to make Italian Pizzelle Cookies, the oldest cookies in the world. Pizzelle are thin, snowflake shaped cookies that are thin and delicate. They are great served plain, with powdered sugar, nutella, or even ice cream!
Pistachio Cookies

This recipe for Italian Pistachio Cookies uses only 5 ingredients. The cookies are soft and share the tastes of pistachio and lemon. They are great for a quick cookie recipe any time of the year, and the green color also makes them a great fit for Christmas dessert!
Biscotti

Try out this Italian Biscotti Recipe that comes straight from Italy! This recipe will teach you the step-by-step perfect method for creating delicious, toasted, cozy biscotti.
Pecan Snowball Cookies

This cookie recipe is made with pecans and exhibits an almost shortbread-like texture that we LOVE. My grandmother calls them Pecan Butterballs, but I’ve also heard them called Pecan Sandies, Pecan Snowball Cookies, or Mexican Wedding Cookies as well.
Walnut Cookies

Walnut Cookies, or Walnut Roll-Up Cookies, as we call them in my house are a delicious way to bring the holiday spirit to your home! The dough is made with yeast, so it rises a bit and is then stuffed with a chopped walnut filling that will leave your taste buds singing.
