This recipe only has a few ingredients and is incredibly affordable to make! Once you have the ingredients in your home, you can easily make Pupusas as a delicious snack from here on out!

Prepare the dough. Start by mixing the dough with a spoon, but you'll need your hands to knead together the ingredients.

Form a ball about 2 inches in diameter and flatten it into a disk. If you're making cheese pupusas, add the shredded cheese.

Roll the dough up around the cheese, then flatten the dough into a disk again, ready to fry them up.

Heat the cast iron pan and fry your pupusas, looking for some char marks on the outside as they cook through, melting the cheese or other ingredients inside.
