Italian Sausage and Peppers

Olive Oil Italian Sausages Bell Peppers Sweet Onion Tomato Sauce Garlic Powder

Heat the sausage for a couple of minutes until the skin is brown on one side. Then, flip the sausage over and heat for another 5 minutes. Set aside.

Add the sliced bell peppers and sliced onions into the skillet. Saute until the peppers and onions are mostly soft.

Add the tomato sauce into the pan along with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add a lid and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

Cut the sausages into small pieces. Then add them to the skillet and cook everything for another 10-15 minutes.


Expert Tips:

If your sauce turns out thinner than you would like, allow it to cook for an extra minute or two with the lid off to reduce the amount of moisture.
