6 oz tomato paste ¼ cup olive oil 1 cup water 1 ½ tsp oregano ¾ tsp rosemary ½ tsp sage ¼ tsp marjoram ¼ tsp salt

Tomato Paste: I mix canned tomato paste with water and olive oil to make a more oil-based pizza sauce.
Rosemary: This recipe would be absolutely delicious with fresh rosemary, though dried rosemary works just as well.
Sage: I use rubbed sage, however you can use whatever form of sage you have on hand (even fresh)
Marjoram : Marjoram and oregano are vaguely similar to one another in flavor, though its profile is a bit milder.
If you don’t have tomato paste, you can use canned tomato sauce in a pinch.
Feel free to use fresh herbs if you have them on hand/can find them! Chop them up very finely to stir them into the sauce.
