Dessert  Cheese Fudge -  Shandesh

Ingredients – Whole milk – Lemon milk – Powdered sugar – Whole shelled pistachios – Saffron threads – Cardamom – Cheesecloth

Shandesh is a dessert popular in Bangladesh. The shandesh is a creamy cheese fudge, that is then flavored with cardamom, pistachio, and saffron to make an amazing Bangladeshi delicacy!

Give the chena some time to be kneaded so that you have a great flavor and a great texture to the finished product.

Feel free to flavor your cheese fudge with whatever you’d like. Rosewater, mango, and chocolate are all flavors that I’d love to try one day!
