CHICKEN KATSU IN THE AIR FRYER

Chicken Katsu is a Japanese recipe for juicy, tender chicken coated in a crispy breading. It’s a versatile main dish that comes together easily in the air fryer and healthier because it's not deep fried.

INGREDIENTS – Chicken breasts – Salt & ground black pepper – Flour – Eggs – Panko breadcrumbs – Cooking spray

You want thin sliced chicken breasts so slice them in the middle so you have 4 pieces instead of 2. Pound them to an even 1/2" thick then season them with a bit of salt & pepper.

Coat the chicken with flour, beaten egg and panko breadcrumbs.

Add the chicken to your air fryer - you may have to cook 1 at a time. Spray the top with cooking spray and let it cook 8 minutes before flipping it over. .

Once done cooking, slice up thin pieces of chicken and serve with a homemade katsu sauce, a side of rice or veggies and enjoy!
