This delicious dessert is a Spanish version of French toast, made by soaking the bread in milk. At the end the Torrijas are sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Make this recipe to celebrate Easter or just for a new dessert to try at home.

First up, prepare the milk mixture. This is going to infuse flavor into the bread when its baked!

Cut up old french bread into slices, add them to the baking dish and pour the milk sugar mixture over.

Once the bread soaks up the milk, dip the bread slices into the egg mixture.

Fry each slice 3-4 minutes.
