Gallo Pinto

Gallo Pinto is a flavorful but simple rice and bean dish traditionally served in Costa Rica alongside eggs, tortillas, and strong coffee at breakfast time. It’s a great way to use up leftover beans and rice and the unique flavors could be enjoyed any time of day!

Got leftover rice? Perfect. Otherwise you can whip some up in your Instant Pot.

Add the chopped veggies to the frying pan. Pour in the Lizano.

Now put it all together - stir in the rice, beans and let it heat thoroughly.

Great way to get some protein and use up leftover veggies.
