BLUEBERRY CUSTARD PIE FROM FINLAND

This Blueberry Custard Pie, also called Mustikkapiirakka, from Finland is the perfect easy spring/summer dessert! It is flavored with blueberries and lemons and has a delicious sugar cookie crust.

CRUST – Butter – Sugar – Egg – Flour  – Baking powder – Vanilla extract CUSTARD – Blueberries – Sour cream – Sugar – Egg  – Vanilla extract – Lemon zest

Create your sugar cookie crust. Easier than making a homemade pie crust. 

Whisk together the custard filling. You'll add a small amount of fresh blueberries to the custard itself. 

Add the blueberries to the crust, pour the custard over them.
