EASY TRES LECHES CAKE

INGREDIENTS – Flour – Baking powder – Salt – Eggs – Sugar – Whole milk – Vanilla – Heavy whipping cream – Powdered sugar – Vanilla – Sweetened condensed milk – Evaporated milk 

This Easy Tres Leches Cake is a sponge cake that is soaked in a combination of 3 different milks: heavy cream, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk. It’s then topped with whipped cream and sometimes served with fruit on top!

Make the cake batter. 

Whip the egg whites into stiff peaks, incorporating the sugar a bit at a time. Fold this into the batter and add to the baking dish, then place in the oven to bake. 

Prepare the whipping cream with heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. 

Combine the 3 milks and pour it over the cooled cake with holes poked all through it for the milk to seep in. 

Spread the whipping cream over the top of the cake once the milk has soaked in. Refrigerate it until ready to serve and garnish with your favorite fruits!
