French Onion Chicken Bake in the Instant Pot

What You Need:

Fill in some text

Bread the Chicken


Pound your chicken to 1/4 inch thick, then coat both sides in flour

Brown the Chicken


Add some butter to the Instant Pot and turn the pot to SAUTE. Brown the chicken on both sides (about 4 minutes on each side). 

Caramelize the Onions


Still on the saute setting, add two more tablespoons of butter into your Instant Pot. Add the onions and saute until they begin to turn translucent.

Cook the Chicken


Add the broth, vinegar, oregano, thyme and chicken into the pot. Cook on HIGH for 9 minutes and then a 10 minute natural release 

Finishing Touches


Add the cheese on top and allow it to melt.
